For the previous 10 years, Computer Weekly has been showcasing ladies in IT, initially publishing a listing of the highest 25 most influential ladies in UK tech in 2012.

Since its first incarnation, the record has grown, and now celebrates 50 of the UK’s most influential ladies in UK tech yearly.

In 2017, Computer Weekly began publishing the longlist when the variety of nominations exceeded 160.
